Wasn´t I on vacation?

Idag har jag varit iväg med grannarna & röjt ormbunkar på deras skogsbete.. ska få ha mina hästar där så vi såg över allt nu på förmiddagen..dom hade med sitt 4åriga barnbarn som sprang runt & sa att hon ville fika hela tiden.. haha söt!

Så nu, efter en stadig lunch, så väntar jag på hovslagarn som ska ta fölungens hovar. får hjälp av grannarna eftersom vi måste va 3 pers med den lilla så han verkligen inte kan smita nu första gången han ska verkas.

Ikväll ska jag iväg på middag & möte med massa bönder i Högsby. två bröder däruppe ska prata om sin plan att bygga robot-stall för 700 kor. de ni! de är inte lite de. personligen är jag då verkligen inget fan av robot-system, men de är alltid intressant att lyssna & få höra vad bönderna i länet ägnar sej åt. alltid lär man sej nåt.. kul & träffa folk.. fast de tycker jag som vanligt aldrig förrän jag är på plats & har hälsat på alla.. innan dess blir jag bara nervös & vill åka hem & gömma mej under ett täcke & inte träffa en kotte..

Men - detta va ju frivilligt, speciellt med tanke på att jag har semester.. så de faktum att JAG SJÄLV tackade ja till den här tillställningen måste ju betyda att jag verkligen ville de.. så såå farligt kan de ju inte va.. haha :)

Today me and my neighboors have been down at their forest pasture to cut with grass trimmer and check the fence.. Im going to let my horses in there, probably by tomorrow, so we finished it up today. they brought their 4year old grandchild who ran around saying she wanted cookies all the time.. cute!

And now, after a heavy lunch, Im waiting for the farrier to come and clip the little baby´s feet. my neighboors will help me since we need to be 3 persons to make sure he doesn´t escape, especially now that it´s his first time.

Tonight Im going to a meeting and dinner with some farmers up in Högsby (Jaci, that´s where my grandpa used to go hunting, you´ve probably been around there) Two brothers up there are going to talk about their plan of building a robot-managed stable for 700 cows. that is not little! personally, Im not a fan of the robot system at all, but it´s always interesting to go to these meetings, you always learn something.. and it´s fun to meet people.. but as usual I dont think that until Im there and have said hello to everybody.. before that I only get nervous & want to go home and hide under a cover & not see a single person...

But - this was voluntary, especially since it´s during my vacation.. so the fact that I said "yes" to this invitation has got to prove that I really wanted to go.. so it cant be that scary.. haha :)
