Idag drog jag in till stan efter jobbet för veckans "stor"handling me henke... vi handlar inte särskilt mycke så de verkar fel att säga storhandling, men ändå, vi handlar ihop. väldigt mysigt! men först syndade vi lite & tog lunch på donken. blä, alltid samma ångest efter en måltid där. tur de inte händer så ofta då. de är bara ibland jag får mina stunder & tror jag är skitsugen på pommes. men efteråt är de alltid lika äckligt.
Today I drove in to Kalmar to meet up with Henrik for our weekly groceryshopping. we barely cover the bottom of the trolley with our groceries together, but it´s still a very nice thing to do together, so we keep on doing it! :) Unfortunately, we had lunch at McD. Yuuck! every now and then I get this weird french fries-craving and I really believe that I want McD-food. but afterwards I always just feel sooo groose... never again! (until next time)
Jag har den senaste veckan seminerat mina första kvigor :D alltså inte kor, dom har jag seminerat sen i dec. kvigor är, för er som inte vet, en ko som ännu inte kalvat. en tonåring. typ, haha. dom är lite svårare att seminera eftersom allt är så smått så man brukar vänta ett tag me dom. o nu har jag alltså börjat på dom me. lätt som en plätt! har gått kanonbra! inga sparkar, inga misslyckanden so far. peppar peppar.
This week I have started to inseminate our heifers. Ive been inseminating the cows since december, but the heifers are usually more difficult because everything is so tiny (a heifer is a young cow, but it has not yet given birth for the first time, and until they do, you call them heifer) so you usually wait until you feel confident enough with the cows. and this week I started on the heifers and it went really well. easy as pie! no kicking, no failures, so far. knock on wood.
Time for bed. Work tomorrow at 5.
